Our Sereno polo belt for children has a beautiful unisex design, with a mix of grey-blue, cream and navy threads that are particularly striking against our signature Havana brown leather. Each belt is handmade and meticulously hand-stitched by an artisan who uses traditional techniques, combining buttery soft leather with tightly woven saddlery threads.
Each of our belt designs was inspired by our experience in La Pampa, the region of Argentina that gave us our name. The Sereno design takes its colours from the tranquil Rio de la Plata, which runs beneath a clear summer sky, right out to the sea. The Sereno is a wonderful belt for summer, with pale neutral colours that can be paired with jeans or light cotton. Our polo belts are known for their durability, and are made for adventures. The waxed saddlery threads are securely woven, and can be cleaned easily with just a damp sponge.
Our children’s belts are all made to the narrower width of 2.5cm, with lengths of 70cm or 75cm measured to the middle hole that is fully adjustable. We only use premium quality, Argentinian leather which has been hand-selected and vegetable-tanned. This produces a smooth material that will soften to the shape of the wearer over time.
CARE
The high quality, natural materials used to hand-craft this pampeano belt means that it has been made to last. To keep it looking at its best, it is important to keep your pampeano polo belt clean and nourished. Use a leather cream to keep the surface enriched and use a soapy, non-coloured sponge to scrub the threads in the direction of the stitching, before using a damp cloth to rinse and a dry towel to blot the threads to dry.
