Outfit for Every Occasion - Ideas for the Festive Season

The festive period is drawing in: you can almost hear the sleigh bells jingling. And along with all of the wonderful festive activities, foods, and fun, it also brings Christmas events. And as with any event, there’s always the issue of what to wear. Well never fear, as this blog post will give you plenty of ideas for outfits for your next Christmas event.

1. Semi-formal Christmas family dinner

First of all, we have the family Christmas dinner. Now while this is a relaxed affair, laughing and making merry with the family, most people like to dress up a little, to make an occasion of it. For the gentlemen, we suggest a shirt with a fabulously festive check blazer, along with chinos, and pampeano’s luxury Jefe belt. This elegant belt will really complement the jacket, and add some class to the outfit. For the ladies, we would go for a puff sleeve mini dress with one of our skinny Roca belts. The Roca is a striking addition to the outfit and will definitely get the family talking.

2. Formal Christmas party

Next, we have the formal Christmas party. This could be a Christmas Ball, or a formal party to celebrate the yuletide. A classic tuxedo is essential for the gents, in a neutral colour, and might we suggest pairing it with our premium navy belt. This belt is simple and effective, with a subtle pattern to elevate your look to the next level. For the fairer sex, we suggest a long satin jumpsuit with our Papa plain brown belt. Again, this sumptuous luxury leather belt is a subtle addition, but well worth it.

3. Christmas party at work

Then we have the Christmas party at work. This is always a tough one to gauge, with so many questions and people to impress. For the men, we suggest a shirt, paired with a cashmere sweater coat, and some dark jeans finished with pampeano’s Astro belt. The Astro is inspired by the night sky, and could reflect the shining star in Bethlehem at Christmastime. For women, we would suggest a suit and blouse with one of our brand new Gamuza suede belts; these sumptuously soft and subtle belts make perfect additions to formal outfits. These smart-casual looks are perfect for impressing the boss, as well as partying with your colleagues.

Whatever you choose to wear this Winter in your social calendar, we wish you a merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

4. Twinning with your significant other

Lastly, we have the Christmas date night. With the nights getting colder, it’s always lovely to get cosy and warm in your favourite restaurant or by the fire in your local pub with a glass of wine and the festive menu. And just for fun, we suggest twinning with your significant other! If you’ve never done this, it’s where you dress up in coordinated outfits to really show that you are absolutely couple goals. We suggest going for the gender-neutral jeans, along with a Christmas jumper (you decide how cheesy or chic you want to go), and completing the look with the Navidad polo belt. This belt couldn’t be more Christmassy: the name in Spanish literally means Christmas. The red and green threading is inspired by the classic festive colours, and this belt will really get your spirits high.
