Pantone has unveiled the colour of the year for 2022, and this year it’s Very Peri, a new shade of lavender-like blue that Pantone boasts personal inventiveness and creativity. For over 20 years, Pantone has provided a colour of the year, setting trends for fashion as well as design, art, film, and all creative outlets. They analyse existing trends and probably trajectories and produce a new shade of unique colour that inspires people all over the world. And this year, we certainly could use an invigorating injection of confidence and creativity as we venture into the unknown.
Here at pampeano we pride ourselves with having the finger on the pulse of the colour world, and will certainly be using this new colour in our own lives. If you came here looking for one of our beloved luxury leather accessories sporting the colour of the year, you’re in luck. Call us ahead of the curve, because one of our favourite items already features this year’s colour of the year: The Fuerza polo belt. Our luxury leather polo belts are already a staple of the sophisticated and worldly wardrobe, and this is the perfect time to expand your collection.
The word Fuerza means Strength in Spanish, and we have all proved our strength over the last difficult couple of years. The light lavender which resembles Pantone’s colour of the year, Very Peri, is joined by panels of light and darker pinks, along with navy and burgundy, making for a fantastically bold and striking look. The combination of colder and warmer tones that makes lavender such a rich and joyous colour is deconstructed and brought out here with the choice of accompanying tones. The Fuerza is unisex, and comes in a variety of sizes: it really is the only choice of belt this season.
That said, if you are inspired by the lavender-blue tones of the colour of the year, but the Fuerza isn’t quite your tempo, we have a few other of our iconic polo belts comprising of some alternate shades of blue, if you would like to be more of a trend-setter yourself.
Firstly, take a look at the Sereno. The light, almost baby blue panels are perfectly complemented by the bright cream and deep navy, set against the rich Havana brown of the leather. This is a very popular style of belt, with the Sereno available as a skinny belt, a children’s belt, a dog collar, and even as one of our brand new leather bracelets.
Next up, we have the Ciebo. Again, using colour theory we can see the cool light and navy blues contrasting against the stunning red and sumptuous brown leather. This, along with the thin lines between the paneling in the wax-dipped saddlery thread adds a level of detail for the discerning eye. This belt embodies the spirit of the colour of the year, if not the colour itself.
And if you fancy something different, take a look at the elegant and distinctive Dinastia. Part of our new regal inspired range, the Dinastia breaks the mould with its pampa diamond pattern of light blue. This belt is simply iconic, and will certainly breathe a breath of fresh air into any outfit.
We hope you have been inspired by Pantone’s colour of the year this year, and by our multitude of offerings therein. There’s more to discover here on the website, so do peruse our extensive range of luxury leather goods at your leisure.
